Robbie Savage departs Forest Green to take charge of League One side.

‘Thrilled is how I’d describe it,’ MacAnthony states.

Robbie Savage has been officially named as the head coach of Peterborough, a team struggling in League One.

Savage has moved on from his position at National League club Forest Green Rovers, signing a long-term deal with Posh, who sit second from bottom in the standings and parted ways with Luke Williams last month. This role represents his first managerial position in the Football League since ending his playing career in 2011, and Savage expressed his excitement to prove his critics wrong.
